Art Deco Amsterdam School Armoir

Beautiful Art Deco Amsterdam School Armoire or Wardrobe from 1928 by J.Th. Drilling jr. Solid oak base with macassar ebony decorative elements. Five adjustable shelves and two drawers. Original the right door had a facet-cut mirror, but is replaced by oak panel in the past. The mirror is still available. The armoire is in good condition with light wear consistent with age and use, while retaining the warm honey-colored wood grain and patina.

J.Th. Drilling jr. was a small furniture company in Amsterdam based in the 'Jordaan' (neighbourhood) between 1927 and 1977.
