Adrien Audoux and Frida Minnet Brutalist Tripod Fireplace Stool, France, 1950s. Dark stained oak tripod frame with a round straw seat. The wood was originally used for wine barrels, giving the stool a rustic look. The natural texture of the straw seat creates a beautiful contrast with the dark oak and the simple frame is a great statement piece with beautiful graphic lines. The stool can also be used as a side table. Good vintage condition with normal user wear and ageing.
